So this year is finally coming to an end, even though there are a few movies yet to be released, but as of right now, what do you think was the best film of 2007?

As far as what I think
Comdey:
Superbad and Hot Fuzz
Action/Adventure/Drama/All that stuff:
The Bourne Ultimatum, American Gangster and just for the heck of it 300
Now Sweeney Todd may very well take over, but i have yet to see it, so ill have to wait on that one.

At the moment of the things i've seen, it'd be a three-way tie between No Country For Old Men, Zodiac, and Death Proof. I will officially decide after i've seen Juno, There Will Be Blood, Atonement and Sweeney Todd, though.

How can you watch movies like superbad and knocked up at your age? also how can you truly appreciate them? they are deeper than just purely comedic entertainment.
When i was fourteen i probably didn't even understand most of the shit that was going on and why.

why wouldn't a 14 year old be able to watch and appreciate superbad?
i'd have ate that shit up at that age.

Trust me, I like Superbad and Knocked up far more than the dick jokes. I saw Knocked Up on DVD and snuck into Superbad (as well as seeing it like 5 times in the past two weeks).

My top two are The Bourne Ultimatum and No Country For Old Men, with Sweeny Todd having an outside chance at joining them.

How are we going to know when you die? You're getting up there and if you disappear because of death, we'll never know what happened.

Upon reading this thread, I'm realizing I spent most of this year watching films that were already released, and not newly released films.
As for films actually released this year, Zodiac and Sunshine take the cake.
for worst, I vote Darjeeling Limited. Biggest letdown I've ever experienced at the movies. And Halloween too, but I knew going in that it was going to suck.

I agree with Walk Hard and National Treasure, i know they wont be a movie of the year but in the same right they still look like good movies to go see.
