View Full Version : People Think Your Emo

Why is it that just because you wear semi-tight jeans. (hey they where in the boys isle.), and like Fall Out Boy you're automatically "emo". Anybody else like this.
PS: Is it weird to like Fall Out Boy, OneRepublic, and Soulja Boy???
People think my emo what?
And your third sentence is probably going to get you murdered around here, as it should. People like you are exactly why this "emo" thing has gotten out of control.

Whoa whoa whoa there buddy, you just took out a sentence. "I don't cut myself, so technically I'm not emo" was in your first post about five seconds ago. Nice try.

I agree I took that out, but I kind of want to live ;). Still that's besides the fact. The question was basically why do people automatically label you by the cloths you wear.
People are just idiots, emo doesn't mean anything any more. If you don't listen to rap and wear clothes two sizes too big, you're probably guaranteed to be called emo at least once.

You're such a n emo.
Just out of curiosity, not trying to be rude, this might be fun:
1) What do you find appealing about Soulja Boy's music?
2) Have you heard any OneRepublic songs other than Apologize?
3) How many albums do Fall Out Boy have?

1) Nothing it's just funny watching people try to do "The Soulja Boy".
2) Yes I personally like "Come Home" on the album even though it is a slow song.
3) 5 albums including EP's

If you were a girl I would pray for you to get pregnant.
These are the problems I have with this thread/you:
1. Your username makes reference to a Panic! At The Disco song.
2. You used your instead of you're in the title, but you're in your post.
3. You used where instead of wear, even though in the previous sentence you used wear correctly.
4. You have two questions in your post that don't have question marks.
5. You like Soulja Boy.
6. You're complaning about something unimportant, just making yourself seem like one of those "no one understands me" 14 year olds. This also gives us all a reason to assume a lot of 14 year olds like this, thus making it hard for any other 14 year olds to be taken seriously.
7. You used isle instead of aisle.
8. You edited your post after being called out on something, seems kind of lame.
That is all.

The only thing that is lame is the fact that you made a list of grammatical errors done by a 14 year old on the internet.

There should a comma somewhere in there. Either that or the sentence needs to be reworded.

So the bunch of threads about sex where any more important? Yes maybe more entertaining, but more important not really. No one understands me? I don't see how I'm coming off like that. I just asked a question. I also understand you don't like the music I like so why bring it up. Sure I edited my post, but I also agreed to me doing it. If you want to know what I said read the 2nd post by MattRM. So what I had a few grammatical errors. Not everyones perfect.
You spelled "Complaining" wrong.

Well, people think I'm emo. But look into my profile, pretty much none of the bands I listen to are the cookie cutter "emo" crap plaguing the musical airwaves these days. I wear my hair a little to the front, but never over one eye or any of that, and only do it to cover up acne on my forehead and because I look bad with short hair. I occasionaly wear tighter pants, but most of my pants are normal fitting, and I like shorts more than pants. I don't wear lots of black, and get mopey, a lot of friends get pissed because i am TOO happy. basically, im not emo. people are assholes about the whole emo thing. just let it go.

i like how a lot of you kids are basing it on a personality or character, when it all boils down to music.
once upon a time, it was something so simple as a music genre.
that's right.
it means emotional.
it's not about wearing eyeliner, buying Avril Lavigne CDs, and cutting yourself for attention,
then hiding your scars with wristbands from hot topic.
but, if you are into that stuff on your own and not basing your decisions on the stereotype, then go, go, go.
