More on why I'm supporting Bill Richardson

We've had some things about this in some other threads - I want to post this speech he made yesterday for those who said that it's naive to think he'll actually remove all troops from Iraq, and for those who think that it's not an option. It's one of the most compelling speeches I've heard in a long time - "I defy the national media to tell the families of the 37 soliders that died in Iraq last month that it doesn't deserve to be on the front page" is all too true. Ohhh I didn't realize that avatar size was a result of how much you talk. That really can be problematic in the politics forum, to reward quantity of speech without regard to eloquence and succintness. La.

I'm not saying it isn't an option...I'm saying if (and that's a giant if) Richardson somehow gets elected, I can almost guarentee that he wouldn't do it...unless troop withdrawal somehow (and that's a giant somehow) became the main issue, and he won with a large percentage of the vote. All of which, at this point, is pretty implausable.
