Help With Article on Free Xbox 360's

my co-worker and i are in the process of researching for an article on the rise of the free (xbox, iphone, hdtv, etc.) sites that are all over the internet.

we've gone through hundreds of these sites and spoken with a few people who've created blogs dedicated to getting all of these freebies. we'd love to hear from any of you that have had any success or complete failure at any of these types of sites.

I almost did one for a free 360, but then just said fuck it and went and bought one. I don't know if it helps, I just didn't want to get scammed and didn't want to have my address and email address hit with spam for forty years. Whether that would happen, I have no idea, but I didn't want to risk it.

it does help. thanks a lot for your input. we want to try and gather as much info, positive or negative, from this.

as far as spam, most people have been telling us they use a separate junk-mail account to sign up usually and even then haven't received any more spam mail than usual.

we've actually had quite a bit of progress today. we received three of our nine referrals and each of them wrote to us and said they'd already received multiple referrals themselves.

If you want to see how to get free gear like this, go to www.anything4free.com. It's obvious to me that this guy created the blog with the sole purpose of getting the xbox, using the gimmick of "research" to draw people in.

hey, thanks to those of you that are going to check it out. we really appreciate all the support and help. i'm sure we will find a way to write something in about the massive amounts of xbox's failing on people as well!

i'm sorry that chris doesn't think that we are legit, but i can assure you that we are. in truth, we are only trying to obtain the xbox for the purpose of the article. if we do somehow end up with one, we'll be donating it to one of the youth centers here in LA.
