I just ordered it off of HBO on demand. I forgot how much I loved this movie.

i loved how dark the ending is and how the bad guy wins at the end with no consequence

I saw it when I was like 11 years old. I haven't seen it since. This post is worthless.

Who was the bad guy? I forget, Tim Robbins or Jeff Daniels? I thought it was Daniels, but i'm not positive.

I remember seeing this movie right after my dad bought our first DVD player. I probably watched this after Lake Placid and before Chill Factor.

It must have been one of the first dvd's ever released, 'cause I can't remember ever not owning it.

The first one, but the second one gets blamed for it in the end.

Jeff Daniels isn't in this movie. Jeff Bridges is. Also, very underrated movie with a great, great bad guy performance by Tim Robbins. Also, does a movie that is over a decade old need spoiler tags? :-D

Notice too that they don't even work on the thread title page, leaving the spoiler tagged portion completely visible to anyone wanting a quick glance at what is in the thread. Ruining it before they even enter.

 i put a spoiler there because i wouldnt want to ruin such a good movie for anyone who hasnt seen it yet.
