I saw this movie about two years ago and thought it was alright, then forgot about it. The other night my girlfriend picked it up and asked what it was about so I went and rented it and was utterly touched by how powerful and moving the film's story was. I'm definitely getting it for her for Christmas.

All the acting is great, especially Albert Finney, and the best part is Tim Burton- I really kind of wish he didn't do gothic films, since this movie is visually beautiful. I had no idea how great Ewan McGregor was, and I wish Billy Crudup would do more movies.

With multiple viewings I see this being one of my favorite movies, its incredible.

I heard this movie was amazing. Trippy as hell though, but I'm not sure how accurate that statement was. I still haven't seen it. I plan to in the next month though.
And with Tim Burton, it's usually a hit or miss. Some of his movies are just... bleh.

Probably my favorite Burton film.

Same here. I remember seeing it in theaters and watching as people were trying to fight back tears as they were leaving during the credits.

I would say it's in my top 3 Burton films, behind Ed Wood.

I was going to watch this the other day, but when my sister saw it a while ago she informed me that it was awful. Clearly she was wrong. Should've known...

I love this film. I like Burton's work normally, but this was a very good and welcome change to his usual work.

I remember hearing about this a long time ago but heard Tim Burton was involved and was turned off from the idea of seeing it. I've heard a lot of great things though. I may have to check it out now.

I'm not a Burton fan at all. Some stuff I find okay, but don't really like.

But Big Fish is so, so good.
