Attention anyone in the Montebello, CA area!! My friend and I are starting a band. I play guitar and she shall be singing. We are hoping to create something fun and exciting. We're not really sure how far to take it or how far it is willing to take us. We are looking for a drummer (preferably with a practice space) and a bass player. Needless to say, both must know how to play their respective instrument. Below are some gear specs. for anyone who cares:
Me(18): Squire Strat with 3 Seymour Duncan hot rails humbuckers, Crate 15 watt MXR combo amp. Pedals: Boss DS-1 distortion pedal, Digitech Flange, Digitech Synth Wah, and Digitech Metal Distortion.
I have been playing for 2 years and am currently in a band that is going nowhere (which is the reason I want to start this one.)
My friend(18): MKS3001 Memorex 20W Karaoke system.
She has been singing since she was born.
We have another guitarist(17); however, I am not sure what he uses. Although I do know he has about 4 years experience. Excuse the small equipment we have. But hey, we are from the ghetto and really low budget.
This whole thing is starting from scratch. We plan on writing music together and making this one collaborative effort. If interested please email me, rxrufiobandit@yahoo.com
