Hey i went to the show in at the 930 Club in DC Overall the show was amazing.

The Kinison went on at first there wasn't too much reaction for them. They were awesome live, they sounded great. A couple guys in the crowd gave the singer the finger he didn't seem to appreciate that very much and made some gestures towards them that were comical. Also sometime during the set the guitarists finger busted open and he had blood all over his guitar that was pretty tough. But they are really a great band if you haven't heard of them download some of their songs their live set is so energetic and emotional. A good bit of crowd interaction by the end of the set but they seemed to have impressed the crowd.

I expected the crowd to pretty hesistent towards Bubba Sparxxx, i personally didn't have a problem with him i listen to some rap so it was something different and i was open towards it but after reading some other show reviews i figured that the crowd wasn't going to be too warm towards him, it couldn't have been any more opposite. The crowd loved him. I found him entertaining i enjoyed his set i don't listen to him too much but his music was pretty good. He had great crowd interaction. Some guy eventually gave him his cowboy hat and he wore that around a bit. Eventually the shirt went off and he mooned the crowd. He was very appreciative towards blink and how they took him out on the road to get more people exposed to Bubba Sparxxx, he said something along the lines of "You don't see many people be as genuine as the guys in blink, especially when this industry is full of motherFuc*ers" something along the lines of that but the crowd loved him. It was something different i liked it.

I have listened to blink for years now (a bit before dude ranch came out) and i've seen various shows and various bootlegs and i must say out of any preformance i've ever seen this was the best live show ever. They were so energetic, contiously running around stage (mark probably didn't stand still unless he was singing and the same for tom) and making jokes with the crowd. To show they haven't lost that humor they started out with Family Reunion, then broke into Whats My Age Again and did the usual set list from all the shows. They played very well, i've seen shows where they didn't play that great it seemed as if they spent more time praticing their jokes than music but they were extremely good today. The new songs were awesome very different yet still very good. I think they take the music more seriously now and are really more appreciative of where they are and of the fans. If anyone has the chance to see them for the rest of this tour or any of the next one they're on find a ticket kill someone and take theirs if possible because this show was worth way way more than $1. Tom had most of the songs including the new ones which led me to believe that this album is more influenced by Tom but they all seemed to enjoy being there and they were very entertaining like i said if you get the chance go see this tour its something you don't want to miss. At the end of the show they were throwing out drum sticks and picks and then mark gave his bass to a kid in the crowd, soon after that the bouncer had to break it up and escort the kid to his car with marks bass. Very nice of him. Over all this show is probably the best i've ever seen.
