This time once spent
And no appreciation to what it all meant
The aftermath of my words
And the slaughter caused by your actions

Now you're left with the filth in your arms
The desperation of what you set yourself to be
All for fun and your pleasure's sake
And no spare as to what my heart could take

How many holes in your stories
Rolling eyes and pretentious lies
Could keep me second guessing
Of what lay real and what fell short?

You should've held on tight (tighter)
When I walked through that door
And across my face shun that savior light
'Cause with that lost one last chance I'm gone

Now here's her time
To pick up where you left off
You mightest well turn the other way
With those devious eyes go out and play

Nothing in common nothing at stake
You look at her wanting to share one thing with you
Wanting her to fall across the line
You drew to set the standards for me

I'm everything you lost everything she gained
I'm full of forgiveness but outta second chances
When my happiness isn't the expense
For another's selfish attempt

Once weak and ready to stumble to my knee
My eyes spin with my heart
While it dances with my mind
And to know all about your kind

So flip this last page
And write yourself a new happy ending
My name without a trace in the plot
And forever look at me
As what you could've got
