About ze cause:
Emancipation Rocklamation, an entirely student organized music event, is now in its sixth year running and has over raised an astounding 15,000 + dollars. Started by Moorestown Friends and Music Club alumnus Brent Dickinson in 2001, the concert aims to support a great cause (ending slavery worldwide, yes it still exists!) and also showcase local musical talent. What began as a relatively small event run by a dedicated group of seniors has through the years grown into an MFS tradition spearheaded by Music Club,. This year we are proud to have over 60 volunteers from the MFS student body helping to run this show.
So come out, hear some truly excellent bands, feel good about yourself, help end injustice worldwide, and leave with a guaranteed feeling of utter satisfaction.
