but i just saw The Roots in concert tonight and all I can say is wow.

these guys just plain amazed me....they came on after OAR (who did a good job jamming) and went on to blow them out of the water. Even the people who i heard saying "I hate rap" were into it by the end.

there really isnt much i can say about it....just go see them if you EVER have the chance....i promise you wont regret it.

hell yes the roots are fucken amazing...and dont take offense to this neone on here but goddamn they blow alooott of the bands around today off the map,far far off the map

yeah, i love the roots. them, jurassic 5, hieroglyphics, blackalicious, swollen members, and sweatshop union are my favorite groups ever. They have such a different sound. I just really wish some people didn't dismiss them right off the bat because they think all rap/hip-hop is like the stuff they hear on the radio.
