"Spoken" by themselves in a 50 seat venue. I was totally taken by surprise with the energy of this band. Coheed @ the High point runs a close second

Bands at small venues always put on awesome shows. Rufio came and played in Brandon, a smaller city, in a venue of about 150 (only like 75 were there), it's awesome cuz there's no guardrail, the band is within reach, the singer points you out if you're in the front row, and the opportunity for sticks, picks, and autographs is the best, meeting the band afterwards ... small venue shows rock.

But then again, so do the big venues.

Big venues suck ass.... shows in general are getting pretty boring to me... anyway...Seeing Straylight Run in a tiny place with about 75 other people was amazing... I got to meet each one of them and stand next to John while we watched Jamison/Parker.
