FEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEDBACK
Eyes open on Utica
the leaves are setting
the mood for the
season of letting go
lets all let go
Eyes fixed on the front line
we pass out in these lanes
deprived of fresh air
and the wolves puncuate
our souls
Tears sealed under obscure lights
that still illume brighter than
our kindest words
to ever hit our ears
Eyes open on Utica to
the image of open wrists
that bleed to the music
of our despair
so you pause and turn
hoping for paradise
to run in the fountain
of the misplaced youth
that were so lost in
the dark paths and hallways
with no doors at
the end
and you’re giving up
on hope as if
its an illusion to you’re
incessant battle
of something that we call
our lives
of something that we call our lives
And you expel all the pain
by transferring the blood all
that flows through like a river
of hate out to the world
that your feet once graced upon
you’re ghost will haunt these
walls for years.
And kiss goodbye to the shattered mirrors that clutter up your floor
the scar on your skin spells out your name
