this show was absolutely amazing. even if they didn't play ALL the songs i wanted to hear (which i don't think would be possible unless they played for 182min), they still put on an utterly awesome show. there's so many things i want to say but i don't know where to begin. well i guess first of all, me being from omaha, nebraska my dad drove me and a friend of mine 6 hours up there just to see blink. but the long drive sure was worth it to see blink so up close and personal. at this show the kinneson was the only band that played, which still kinda sucked cuz it wasn't just blink or an actual decent opening act. the kinneson had energy but their vocalist is one of the worst i have heard EVER. first of all the guy just can't sing, he screams like a girl, and his ass crack was hanging out the entire time and was disgusting. i can't believe these guys kept playing with all the middle fingers and booing they were getting from people. don't get me wrong, i thought they music was pretty good but they seriously are in desperate need of a new vocalist if they want to go anywhere. after they got off some "guerilla" of a guy was up on stage calmly telling people to back up because apperently at concerts people aren't supposed to move around or fall or do anything of that nature thanks to the stupid preppy girls and guys with their rich dadies that paid their way to the show and ruined it for the rest of us die hard blink fans. when blink hit the stage the place just errupted. i was expecting them to say a lot or jokes and commentary inbetween songs, but to my and probabaly almost everyone elses surprise it was all about this music this time around; and boy did they sound incredible compaired to the previous time i saw them back on the TOYPAJ tour. the night would have been better had they played a longer set since bubba wasn't even there and the kinnison had played only a couple of songs or any at all. i mean the quest has a 9-9:30 curfew, the show started late because of the kinneson (who should not have played at all for their not showing up on time...) and when blink ended it was only about a quarter til 9, if that so they still had plenty of time to play more songs or even an encore. when some of the crowd started out things from budha, cheshire cat, and even dude ranch tom specifically said "we can't play those" which makes me ponder why they couldn't or wouldn't. have they finally sold out into the record execs. by agreeing to play only newer stuff or what is the deal??? but whatever the case they're still my favorite band ever and it was one of the best concerts i have ever been to and one of the best nights i've had for other reasons involving the concert.
