(Im new here but i would like to say HI and hope this does not suck)

Show was Held at The Great American Music Hall which looks like a small venue but can pack a good amount of people inside. The first band was Eisley. I saw them open for Coldplay, they rocked then, and they rocked for this show. They can harmonize great and they have supper cute voices. Not sure of the songs they played but they did play a song called "Treetops" which is a great song.

Hot Rod Circuit was next. They were a rare case where I had never heard of them before the show (usually I know what a band kinda sounds like). They reminded me a lot of Jimmy Eat World (not a bad thing) It took a few songs but the crowd got into them and they rocked out just as hard. One thing I learned about this band is "pharmacist" is a great song.

Last but not least was Brand New. Jesse had the crowd in the palm of his hand. It was like everyone knew every word to each song, It was great because even with everyone singing you could still hear the music. They played with a lot of energy and they also did a very good cover of "El Scorcho" by Weezer. I suggest seeing any of these bands when they come near you.

Heres a list of what brand new played (not in order):
Secondary (I think, I should know but im blanking on one song)
El Scorcho (Weezer cover)
Soco Amaretto Lime
Sic Transit Gloria...Glory Fades
Failure By Design
Good to Know That if I Ever Need Attention All I Have to Do Die
Jude Law And A Semester Abroad
Me v.s. Maradona v.s. Elvis
Mix Tape
Jaws Theme Swimming
The Quiet Things That No One Ever Knows
Seventy Times 7
The Boy Who Blocked His Own Shot
Tautou
Okay I Believe You, but My Tommy Gun Don't
Guernica
I Will Play My Game Beneath the Spin Light

Thanks for reading, hope it was... ok. It was fun to write. Feel free to respond anyway way you like. Rock On and Enjoy Music!

Booo for bumping this. I'd KILL to see them play Failure or Logan, even though Logan's not on this setlist, since I never saw them live prior to last summer....

OMG?!?!?@#11!!!

What the fuck am I supposed to complain about with this set!?
- They did't play anything of TDAG
- They played Failure and 70x7

Man - Wish I would've seen them back in the day. When they were good. And Jesse cared. And emo was real. I was still able to cry.

GD Fuck. I wish people who hated TDAG wouldn't fucking go to shows. Thay way - everyone would be happy.

Dude, it's not as if I hate TDAGARIM, it's just that I wish I had seen some of the songs I enjoyed back in the day before I could go out of town to see shows. I'm only 20 and didn't begin seeing shows really until I was 15 and a freshman in high school.

I really enjoy the new album and have seen them three times within the past year to try and make up for the times I never saw them prior to the long break between Deja and TDAG. In August I will also be seeing Jesse and Kevin in Nashville; again because I want to make up for the missed opportunities.

It's the same way I feel towards Blink since I only had the chance to see them on their last two American tours even though I grew up on Dude Ranch, Enema, and TOYPAJ.

Set-lists are just something that can please no one.
Take your fav. band, and then create your fav. set-list. Now - someone else who loves that band just as much (if not more than you) will fucking hate that list with all their hearts. And people won't understand. And they'll come here and bitch.

I totally feel your pain for catching a band after they've moved on from touring from your fav. CD. I would shoot most people on this board to go back and see Tori Amos Plugged in '98. But it won't happen.

Sooooo. We are left with two options. Bitch that your fav. artist: sucks/lost their soul/isn't talented/doesn't care about their fan base/should die. Or we can all be happy they are still around.

And in this amazing day of getting set-lists from every show of your fav. artist, you know what you are getting. So, since Brand New WILL NEVER play 'Mix Tape' again, you must make the choice if you want to keep following Brand New, or if you want to move on. To whom much is given, most shall be required.

But most people here will just sit back and fucking bitch till we all hate them and each other.
