Murder By Death- They seemed to be a cool band, talked about how their album is a concept album about the end of the world. The last song they played was like 15 minutes long, it was instrumental. Pretty Awesome shit. They had a lot of energy on stage and rocked pretty hard.
(3.5 out of 5)
The Format- This band reminds me of like Acceptance or John Mayer. Kind of a rock band, not really punk. But they had a lot of energy also, and a lot of heartfelt lyrics. I wouldn't mind seeing them again sometime.

The New Amsterdams- I love this band, I've loved them for 3 years. I was dying to see them and finally I got my chance. It happened to be just Matt Pryor by himself. He played some of my favorite tunes such as "Stay on the Phone," and "Proceed With Caution," as well as a cover of Outkast's "Hey Ya." Lots of funny between song banter too.

Straylight Run- They played all of the songs from their website as well as about 5 that were new. Michelle Nolan sang be herself a song that I think is called "Holding On." Pretty awesome stuff. They opened with "Mistakes We Knew We Were Making, and they finished with "Existentialism on Prom Night." They sounded really good. After the show they hung out for a while and talked to everyone. I got my picture with John Nolan and Michelle Nolan. It was cool.
