Fall Out Boy- Typical pop/punk band. Reminds me of New Found Glory and Sugarcult. I like both of those bands, the reason they were playing is they are on LTJ's label "Fueled By Ramen." I thought that they were ok, their songs sounded ok. Lots of energy.

Yellowcard- I never really got into Yellowcard. The only song of theirs I really know is "Way Away," from Madden 2004. I thought they had a lot of energy, which was a theme for the night. I know a lot of people like Yellowcard, but I really don't. Again, I think a lot of people started listening to pop/punk, but there are so many bands out there that sound the same, and though I don't like Yellowcard, I'll give them credit for at least being original.

Less Than Jake- First off, I have to say that I am really bias, LTJ is my favorite band EVER. This is the 9th time I've seen them. I was really looking forward to hearing more of the new songs of Anthem. They opened with "Welcome to the New South," and then played "The Ghosts of Me and You." I was hoping they would open with "WttNS." They hit a lot of favorites, particularly my favorite song by them, "Scott Farcus Takes It On the Chin." The only notable songs left out were "Automatic," and "Al's War." Both of which are normally staples of an LTJ set. Nonetheless, these guys never fail to impress me with the way the work the crowd into a frenzy. The finished with "Screws Fall In, Screws Fall Out." Which started with Chris and an acoustic guitar solo on stage, then he was joined by the other members. All in all, awesome show by LTJ. I LOVE THAT BAND!

But then again, I think they cancelled the rest of their tour because of a family tragedy. I don't know if that time range interferes with the show date in your city, but it could, because I think it's the rest of the tour with fall out boy and less than jake.

so i saw this show in dc last week and i def have a different opinion. unfortunately yellowcard wasn't playing that leg of the tour and rufio wasn't there either cuz as someone else said they had a family emergency. but i thought fall out boy was amazing, they have a great stage presence and whether you wanna brand them with "pop punk" or not is up to you but they always have a lot of energy and are a lot of fun. i thought less than jake played a pretty good show, lots of energy and great banter in between songs as always, but i still have not gotten used to the ska kids and ska crowds, something just doesn't make sense to me as to why you have to where leather/wool jackets it's just annoying to the people who you run into or lean up against, but either way good show from both bands
