The Silent Ballet (http://www.thesilentballet.com) is proud to hold its third annual Battle of the Bands Tournament. If you have any interest in instrumental music at all (post-rock, electronica, ambient, etc.), we'd be delighted if you participated.

Some basic info:
The tournament is set up as single elmination, where two bands/artists face off and the one who receives the most votes goes to the next round. Readers are able to fill out a bracket ahead of time and submit them to the website. Those who score the higest will win some cool prizes! (t-shirts, cds, other assorted goodies).
About half of the entrants were selected based on their position in the TSB top 50 albums article (http://www.thesilentballet.com/tsbt/2007/50_41.html), or the TSB top 25 electronica article (http://www.thesilentballet.com/tsbt/2007/top_25.html). The other half were selected from several pre-tournament grinders which the members of the Silent Ballet forum voted on. You have to register to the forums in order to vote and participate.
***Brackets are due at midnight EST on Sunday, Feb. 3rd. Voting will begin at 12:01 AM (00:01) EST on the morning of Monday, Feb. 4th.***
