Your eyes stare into mine
two icy blue pools one can drown in
I feel myself sinking slowly,
sinking into the essence that is you
I start to panic, try to swim to the top
but like quicksand, I'm caught, and cannot move
I'm trapped in this cat and mouse game
never ending, never ceasing
I'm surrounded by the web of your lies
You tighten you hold,
squeezing the air out of my lungs
I know I should get away,
but the choking of my throat makes me stay
This pain is addicting, like drugs, I just can't stop
I can never escape from the prison in which you hold my heart
I hear sirens go off in my head when you approach,
but my heart flutters with every step you take
Trustingly I look in your soul,
searching for a sign
But your icy blue eyes show only pleasure
in the pain you cause me
I try to turn and run, panick fills my mind
but it is too late, I'm frozen where I stand by his eyes
Faster than a heartbeat he's next to me,
and I'm stuck in his trap again
