I used to watch this show everyday before I went to college but when in college I just didn't watch much TV. Now that I'm done with college I just have more time to watch shows and this is one I want to watch again. Always saw the box set at Target. When I get some more money I'm going to pick this up. I agree. And Courtney Cox aged so...plastic-y that I don't even think she looks like Monica anymore. People would hype it up so big that it would probably never live up to it too. I feel like I got closure from the ending of the series, so a movie doesn't seem necessary.

No problem. It;s hard finding good Friends gifs because a lot of them have dumb graphics. I actually had to tone down my Friends references because I was making them way too often haha. I love it because me and my sister watch it so often we can like read each other's mind when we connect something to Friends. Since I also never get to use these...

Nick at Nite made my life by adding Friends to the lineup. I miss it when it plays throughout the day on other stations, but I find myself staying up to watch it. I kind of wish they kept up the marathon hours they had when it first was introduced to the Nick at Nite lineup. It brought me so much joy.

Joey/Rachel made me soooo uncomfortable. I loved Phoebe/Mike the best. I thought Rachel with Gavin were kind of cute, and I actually liked Ross and Julie. Monica and Chandler were great too, minus how whipped Chandler got

Really? He's her lobster!

I did love the bit about the lobsters, but that's Phoebe's greatness haha. I just didn't "get" them. What did they have in common? Rachel was pretty clear that Ross' geekiness bored her most of the time. I just don't think I could ever be with someone who pretended to snore whenever I spoke, or who made fun of my dream job. I just never saw a reason for them to be together. They just were but I never knew why. It was just like "okay these two people have feelings for each other but otherwise don't seem to have any connection towards one another whatsoever." Maybe I just missed it or it's that "opposites attract" thing.

Yeah, Monica was kind of annoying unless she was in her fat suit. Actually, I found Phoebe almost insufferable. If the show were just about the three guys and Rachel, I would have enjoyed it a lot more. Still a great show though.

Ross and Rachel were my least favs, but they all had great moments. Ross was hilarious but was a huge douche. Phoebe and Monica were great, and of course Chandler. Joey was funny but he was dumbed down so much by the end.

It's just such a great comfort show. Watching the blooper real tonight totally turned my day around.

Crazy. She is easily in my top 3 with Monica and Chandler. Lisa has the cutest laugh and she was perfect in Romy and Michelle as well.

Eh, I thought Ross had a worse personality. Possessive crazy person even if he was hilarious. And Rachel could be a spoiled brat. Even Monica's flaws got so exaggerated by the end that she could be annoying. Phoebe and Chandler were always great to me though. I loved Phoebe's friendship with Joey and her relationship with Mike. I also love the scene where she sings Lionel Richie with Chandler and the one where she's trying to seduce Chandler to expose him and Monica.

Haha that last scene you mentioned was great. And yeah, I liked her and Joey's whole thing. But man, that voice. It was worse than Chandler's smile-and-nod.

Wouldn't they turn the air on so that the room would be cold and that would happen? I swear I read that years ago, unless it was just a rumor because it happened to all the girls on the show and it creeps me out every time.

What?! You hadn't heard Joey's story? That's awesome. I wonder if you're missing any more from that season, you should check. TOW the Red Sweater is classic.

I kinda stopped watching friends at a point. I didn't see the finale till years later. Looking through the list of episodes, there are three I may not have seen (of if I did, I don't remember): "The one with the birth mother", "the one with the home study", and "he one with the blind dates".

The one with the sex tape is hilarious especially at the end when Ross and Rachel watch it and get disgusted with it and turn if off right away.

Probably a late pass, but my dad and I just noticed when we were watching TOW Ross' Inappropriate Song that when Joey pulls Monica down so she won't see Richard's sex tape, you can see she's wearing knee pads.

The cold open in TOW Monica Sings is probably one of my favorite in the series. Chandler nails the entire thing.

-"Just give me a second to get all huffy and weird like you! Do you believe that who ever did something over here last night did what they did or didn't do ...I mean come on!!"
-"Our balcony? Seriously? That's so funny because I told Monica we should put lights on our balcony and she said "No, no. It's too cold, nobody will go out there." And I said "Maybe if we put some lights out there they will.""
-" You know when "That's fine" sounds true? When someone yells it and spits!"

It's probably one of my favorite eps but it's not one that I usually think of immediately. It is so good.

So what's the general consensus around here on when a drop in quality occurred? I think it was right after season 6, when Chandler lost all that weight. Before that everything was pure gold.

I'd say 5 was when the decline started, but there are so many awesome episodes sprinkled throughout the second half of the series that it doesn't matter. With that said, seasons 1-3 are perfect and hilarious in every single way.

Yeah I think every season has at least one great episode, and I usually find at least one thing funny in every ep. The only storyline I actually hated was Joey and Rachel dating.

So it was pretty consistent for me. I could put in any season and be good to go.

The only episodes that I ever feel like not watching are the ones where Monica and Chandler were trying to hide their relationship from the group in the early stages of their relationship. I can't tell if it's because that was annoying or if it was simply just because I've seen the episodes so many times.

haha I just realized that in tow The Mugging, Joey says he'll do a southern accent but he does a Jamaican one, and in tow Rachel's Late, Chandler mentions paying for a dialect coach for Joey's southern accent that still came out Jamaican haha.

I need a million late passes. After watching every ep a billion times, I just made the connection.
