Ok, so I saw these guys at the 930 club in DC last night. I had listened to alot of their stuff before but had never seen any of them live (MBR skipped the warped tour because of sickness).
Anyway...amazing show. Matchbook Romance played a great mix of their earlier songs with those off the new album, and finished off with Greatest Fall to really get everyone going. I have to say that their bassist is awesome too, he stage dived and kept playing and was really going insane through the set.
Senses Fail had a longer set and got the crowd going much more, with a brutal mosh pit on Stephen and One Eight Seven. I forget their lead singers name, but he did a great job overall (also have to give him props for the 'HOT DAMN!' shirt). I really appreciate these guys alot more now after hearing them live, and want to hear more of them.
Millencolin finished it up, and it seemed that most of the people in the crowd were there solely for that band. Lots of Euro-punks, and it was cool, they're a damn charismatic group. The band went on to play songs going back to '93, and even came back after it was over to play 3 more songs for an impressive encore. They kinda reminded me of a good MXPX show, except definitely louder w/ the extra guitar.
Overall, kickass show and I'd recommend seeing them.
