Another way it can be de-bunked: Ben killed his own father. Ben would have been dead by now. It is an interesting theory, but it just can not make sense once you look at it.

I'm guessing either Desmond or Kate centric. If it's Kate it'll be a flashforward, and hopefully we'll find out who 'he' is (and I don't think it's Sawyer)

I'm also hoping we catch up with the others at the Temple. I'm really curious whats going on with that.

After reading a bunch in the last thread and stuff on Dark UFO I'm convinced that Naomi wasn't part of whatever these new people turn out to be, I think her intentions were to actually find Desmond, and the people on the freighter convinced her to join in their search under false pretenses. But the question is why would they have to lie to her? Couldn't they just use the resources/people they had without having to hire on people not subscribing to their cause?
I think it could potentially be that they knew whoever went to the island first would be in great danger, and they didn't want to risk one of their own, so they sent someone not vital to their 'primary objective.'
