I really like the writing style Claudio uses. I'd always known my writing syle was different, but after reading a lot of Coheed lyrics, I realize that different can be a really good thing. I mean, Coheed and Cambria songs don't rhyme or really follow any structured pattern for that matter -- and they still work.

If you read this... please reply, even if it's just a word or two... It would be good to know what people other than my friends think. Thanks all.

"Tile and Walls"

Hear the cries of this town tonight
They're weeping and pleading for you
Stay with us, we're scared and the wait is too cold.
Ms. I think I misheard --
The splashing of tears drowns you out,
Echo off these cold cement walls
when the unmistakeable words drift from down the hall -
We did everything we could....
A good fight on both sides
to a checkmate no one deserved, yet won.
Now left a body and battered heart,
Barely recognizable to all but the girl -- the culprit.
The weapons she hides behind her back,
The hands thought harmless put in such great care
And she Broke.
Now one's left dead and the other feels worse
With trust to blame for everything.

Thats good. I especially like the part "and she broke" the short sentece is really great. the ending is good too, about blaming trust for everything. Cool.
