Penelope Cruz (http://imdb.com/name/nm0004851/) and Scarlett Johansson (http://imdb.com/name/nm0424060/) are to steam up the big screen in Woody Allen (http://imdb.com/name/nm0000095/)'s new movie - by taking part in a reported lesbian sex scene. The actresses will lock lips and get hot and heavy in Vicky Cristina Barcelona (http://imdb.com/title/tt0497465/), which also features Cruz's boyfriend Javier Bardem (http://imdb.com/name/nm0000849/). According to British tabloid The Sun, Allen's aiming for one of the most erotic scenes in movie history. A source tells the publication, "People will be blown away and even shocked. Penelope and Scarlett go at it in a red-tinted photography dark room, and the whole scene will leave the audience gasping."

Anyone hating on Penelope needs to see her perform in Spanish films, in which she is far superior to anything she's ever done over here (Belle epoque, Abre los ojos, Todo sobre mi madre, Volver, etc.).

I think she's a good actress, especially in Volver, but that's besides the point. This thread isn't really geared towards her acting ability.

In fact, I think she's pretty good, if not, great. Meryl Streep and Sigourney Weaver are great actresses too, but I don't think I want to see them in a lesbian sex scene.

I probably would not see the movie in the first place and Cruz is not overly attractive in my eyes.
