This was a hard one, between deja and the devil and god.
I think I still like deja the best, just because it's what got me into brand new, but I can definitely recognize the devil and god as a more musically*impressive album, and one of the best to be released in a while.

i cant vote on these three because they are so distinct to me and are connected to very distinct times in my life

the maturity from album to album is perfect

to be honest though, the devil and God finds its way to my speakers the most

it is my winter cd

in summer i will probably go back to deja

As a fan from the get-go, and a huge fan since Deja, I still have to give the nod to The Devil and God...
However, both Deja and TDAGARIM were huge influences on the scene and had people everywhere wondering how they could even compete.

But with TDAGARIM, they became the best band in the scene and maybe in all of indie music in general. (Don't send me hate messages, Radiohead fans.)

ive never liked there first album, the second was ok but i got bored of it quick there third album i think is amazing and the best iv heard in a long time, seeing them at last years gian fest in birmingham was amazing.

Haha, ok. Radiohead aside, what about Modest Mouse? I think Brand New could be in the conversation depending in this next album.

Modest Mouse is a pretty great band but I think they are a little less focused. I don't feel like they elicit the same type of intensity with their music from their fans.

Great band - they belong in the conversation... but not the top dog for me.
