Alright, I've got my monacle and top hat, and I'm ready to post.

From Autumn to Ashes-- quality music... two years ago. "Sin, Sorrow, Sadness" and "Too Bad You're Beautiful" are excellent albums. Melody in the right places, teenage angst in small doses. "Too Bad You're Beautiful" even made it to my favorite albums list. However, I can't say that I enjoy the new album. Yes, it is growing me, but when I first heard it, I was anything but impressed. Open up with an awesome song like "The After Dinner Payback" and then run into an emoish, way watered down "Lilacs and Lolita".. it just doesn't flow. And "Autumn's Monologue" leaves much to be desired for. Melanie Wills was alright in "Short Stories with Tragic Endings", but don't make her part of the band. If you're going to make a change in your music style, don't do it half ass. Change, or don't. I'm not saying that "The Fiction We Live" is a bad album, it's just not characteristic of other FATA releases. I can see where you're coming from, since you don't seem to like bands that are similar to FATA. However, if you're into this kind of music, there's plenty to like. FATA is a great live band, and they have awesome lyrics. I also happen to enjoy the vocals (although, I'm sure many would beg to differ). Anyway, I've kinda lost my flow, so to each his own, and hey, if you don't enjoy it, don't waste your time listening to it. :)

don't get me started on FATA. They just fashion hawk annoy me. I can't fashion hawk figure out why I fashion hawk hate their belt buckle music. It's not all that belt buckle bad but there's just something about 80 dollar jeans about it that 80 dollar jeans makes my 80 dollar jeans blood boil.

The only time I ever heard this band was at Warped Tour. I think my friends and I were waiting for the Mad Caddies to come on, and all FATA did was play some 80's sounding guitar riffs and scream into their mic's. Now I try to respect everyone's taste in music, but to me, this isn't music. This is just a waste of a record deal. I apologize if anyone likes them, but they just aren't for me.

i like fata. their new album is a big disappointment. well someone said they suck but i noticed they had a i <3 vendetta red. lol which is not too much of good themselves

.. ya too bad you're beautiful was def better than the fiction we live although the fiction we live does have some decent tracks.. it just doesnt flow as well and it seems like they tried a little too hard to follow up tbyb with something they thought the kids would like more.. i felt that it lacked some of the pure emotion that was tbyb... and before you knock 'em please listen to the whole cd because listening to just one song won't tell you the whole story... but ya gotta love melanie will's voice, i liked autumn's monologue actually....

ok...this bad ... how to i begin... i wanted to like them but i just couldnt i saw them live at the vagrent tour and i couldnt believe was i saw\heard... it was just horrible they are by far the worst band ive ever seen live.. and probobly on my top 10 worst bands of the year.

I've never seen them live and I've barely even heard the newer album, but I own "Too Bad Your Beautiful" and I enjoy it a lot.
