I love em. Whats everyone elses opinion? The only c.d of theirs ive heard is "how to start a fire" and I think it's great. I can't believe that Chris Carabba left these behind to form d.c. Who in my opinion aren't as good. Are the c.d with him on better or worse than the new album?

before i realized that you were expressing yoru love for them i was really confused and angry as this is the trash talk page and that is not where FSF should be. but yea, further seems forever are so incredible i want to pee in my pants. The Deep is an incredible song, and any of their songs for that matter. I think they're sort of under rated. they're never talked about.

You really can't compare the two albums.

And.. I agree. FSF is under-rated.

i think the moon is down is way better than how to start a fire...i got bored with the new one after a couple weeks....i miss the days when they played smaller venues too...im glad they're getting the attention they deserve but i just don't feel the connection to their music that i used to

Look at how big Dashboard is and maybe you'll start to understand.

Back to the topic... I think FSF is great... not sure which album I liked better of the two, both are very good.

i would have dropped fsf for dashboard. chris gets to express himself more and gets to show off his vocals even more because its normally acoustic. he doesnt have to battle with guitars and drums normally.

i agree with buriedalive.

in my opinion fsf was better with chris' vocals.

fsf are one of a small group of bands (in my opinion) who would have still got big (withn punk rock anyways) without the current popularity of emo/post-hardcore/whatever.
i love fsf and i really like both records. chris and jason are both great singers/lyricists and the band had a good sound on 'the moon is down' and on hav a good sound on 'how to start a fire'. i was impressed that when i saw fsf in london in october they played old stuff ('the bradley', 'the moon is down') as well as new stuff. i hope the next record will continue their tradition of awesomeness.

Further Seems Forever is awesome.

Look at how big Dashboard is and maybe you'll start to understand. Very true.

Agreed. I saw FSF with Chris once, and FSF with Jason once. Chris has a better vocal range and better vocal dynamics. I was very disappointed in Jason's vocals. He couldn't even hit any of the good notes. He kind of has a studio voice.

I listen to The Moon is Down way more than How to Start a Fire. I got kind of bored with How to Start a Fire.

I love The Moon Is Down, and maybe its because I went in with a critical mind, but I have yet to get through How to Start a Fire completely. It bores me, and with the exception of 2 or 3 songs, I don't like it at all. I want Chris back.

jason gleason is a better singer than chris, i think.i like fsf. but the guitars all sound very similar on all the songs. they don't suck tho.
