ALL KEEPERS MUST BE SUBMITTED BY MARCH 1ST. IF YOU DO NOT SUBMIT YOUR FINAL LIST BY THEN YOU WILL BE STUCK WITH WHATEVER LIST I DO HAVE.

ALSO, PLEASE PRE-RANK YOUR 5 KEEPERS IN CASE YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO ATTEND THE DRAFT.

First, take the time to vote in the poll.

Secondly, though it'll show one number here you will see differently in the draft. For example, if you have the first pick here, you will have number 12 in the draft because your first 5 picks and the 6th round starts the new player draft. Also, just like the Football league, new players will be added to the END of the draft.

it makes no sense for a roto league at all. bring the idea up in a serious pay league and everyone would laugh at you and quit.

I don't really like using AVG in fantasy baseball at all. If you're using 5x5 stat categories, I don't think someone like Juan Pierre should be close to as valuable as someone like Ryan Howard.

avg is standard though, and just like real baseball, having speedsters that can get on base and score is as important and the sluggers who bring them home. i think the rankings make sense in regular 5x5 roto. when you have avg and obp, two categories that are often closely linked, it's like making one category worth double. Not always linked together, but often. I'm in favor of having one or the other, either way I don't mind since they're both acceptable roto practice. but never both, it's a big no-no. It's like giving points for completions in football, it's just something you don't do.

Oh, I thought we did it then so people didn't have to draft on multiple different nights, so we just made one busy night. I can do it any night. I'd love to make it March 24th, but Yahoo won't let me. I might be able to change it though if I don't start the scoring until weke 2.

Just to remind everyone, the draft is Monday night, 11 PM. It will not be changed. Please, it is very vital that you pre-rank your keepers, so we do not have the same nonsense that went on in the football keeper league.

Also, the majority voted for both avg. and .obp. If we do decide to do both, please suggest a pitching stat to use. BB, K/BB ratio, etc.

Had very little to work with in terms of keepers, but I think I did well. I like my offense quite a bit, 61 RBI (Kenji Johjima) was the lowest anyone of my starters had last year, and only one starter (Michael Young) didn't hit 10 home runs, and I expect him to have a bounce back type season this year. My pitching definitely needs some work though.
