So I need a new glove. My birthday money has arrived and I have a 350 dollars spending limit (around there). I need a new glove for the upcoming seasons that can last me two years of every season baseball.

I have a Wilson A2000 infield glove(use for outfield also.. why? idk.) and a Nokona Black Shadow Series catcher glove.

I'm a catcher and need an all purpose glove. But I'm debating on whether buying an outfielders glove(main position besides catcher).

Someone rec me some good gloves. I don't want a Wilson.

if you have an A2000 you should probably go with a Outfielders mitt, in my opinion.

For infield gloves I always went with Mizuno, but I usually like Easton or Rawlings.

I had ones similar to these that I liked:

Mizuno and Easton are both nice. Don't really Rawlings though.

I hate Rawlings. Either it takes too long to break in or they just don't give me a good feel. I might be buying my friends Ichiro Mizuno model(pro series). Being its got a good break already and he doesn't play anymore.

I always used a Mizuno.

I used a Nokona from the time I was 13 til I was 18 and it was a great glove.

They take a while to break in, but once you do you will never want another glove

I've always used a Kelley, and I've loved it. However, now that I am thinking generational, so I'll be going with a Rawlings. The Kelley has lasted 7 good seasons (High School and men's summer leagues).

The best infield mitt I ever used was a Katz. great quality. unfortunately I just borrowed it for a game and it wasn't mine to keep :-(

I'm not getting another A2000. The padding is horrible. Even though it was a quick break.

I use the Wilson A3000 for my infield work. Not the ones that pop up on google images though, different one.

It's worked wonders for me, however, I too need a new glove for the upcoming season. I'm going to buy an outfield glove for my work out there.

As for my catcher's glove, I'm trying to find it on google, but I can't. It's the rawlings Paul Lo Duca model. It's gorgeous.

Does it come with a subscription for HGH too?

No, but it does come with good jokes.

Mizuno makes the best baseball gloves imo. Great leather, design, durability in my experience using their first base gloves.

ive been a rawlings man my entire playing career, playing everywhere around the horn except 1st and catcher. my dad uses rawlings and his gloves from when he was a kid, 50+ years old now are still in great shape considering their age. he tried getting a new one and went back to using his old ones. they do take a while to break in but once they are i dont think they can be beat.

Got a Rawlings. Quickest way besides oil to break it in?

Heart of the Hide Trapeze special edition outfielders glove.

there is that foam shit that only takes a day. If it is real leather, you should oil it or use wilson pro stock glove conditioner. And then follow the directions and catch at least 100 throws before you use it in a game.

literally whenever you have any free time at home just sit and throw a ball into it, also condition it with a glove oil daily

no, you should not condition it every day. When you put oil on your glove constantly it adds weight to it.

Also, don't use shaving cream.

I'm tell you. Wilson Pro Stock Glove Conditioner. Put it on all over the glove. put a ball in the palm, wrap it. Have a catch with it at home, with a friend, at practice. When you're not using it. Re-wrap it. Then after or a week or - use the conditioner again and have a catch with it. It should just be about broken in. The best thing to do is continually have a catch.

Before you pack it for the winter it. Condition it and keep it wrapped.

I got my Nokona NLT Glove Conditioner. It works being when I got the glove on Saturday, it was stiff as shit. But shagging some in Center field, it's becoming more easy to catch... even though that really isn't saying much.

What should I wrap it with? My last glove (A2000) I broke in naturally and it took me two weeks.

I'd just save some penny with the secondary glove and get an oversized infielder's glove, then go with a nice, 200+ dollar catcher's mitt.

I think I spent like 40 bucks on a glove in 7th grade and I used it all the way through high school. Best glove ever. I don't understand spending a ton of money on a glove. It doesn't affect anything.

I don't know much about gloves but Wilsons are pretty good, for general purpose. I was a backup catcher for one year but I just used my friends glove.
