I went to the Taking Back Sunday show, the same one as you did. Saves The Day and Moneen was there too. They played here in Minnesota at the quest which was small..and I'm the oppisite of you, I don't like the teenie boppers who go 'cause they're boyfriends are emo or because they think it's just the right thing to do. As long as they're there for the music and ACT like it, then that's fine.
Moneen was pretty good. I was hoping for a good opening band to get me heated, afterall, Taking Back Sunday is my favorite band no matter how over rated they might be turning out to be.
But yeah Moneen was good. I was in the middle of the crowd for Moneen and I got beat down in the mosh pit 2 times and I surfed.
Then after Moneen we were in the crowd and everyone was pushing, trying to get to the front, which I don't know why they did 'cause no one got anywhere, so we started a chant..
"We won't stand for hazy eyes anymore."
And repeated it on and on, until TBS got on stage.
I've never been so excited in my life but yes that was fun. The crowd was so demanding my friends left the crowd and stood on the side because they couldn't handle the heat and the pressure of being pushed to the ground.
Taking Back Sunday ended and i seriously wanted to cry. Adam got so into the music and I seriously saw what pride he puts into his music. If we had artists who did that music would have a better name.
Saves The Day I love also. I was happy when they opened up with "This is not an Exit" 'cause I love that song.
Alot of people had left for Saves The Day which kinda pissed me off but then again it moved out alot of the audience.
I was on the side a little and I was yelling the lyrics to every song I knew.
After the show I met Taking Back Sunday and Adam is by far the nicest guy I've met. They signed my shirt and they gave me a guitar pick, which was made me happy as hell.
I hope they tour again. The only disapointment was they didn't play "The Ballad Of Sal Villeneuva."10 courier purple
