It's the one where These Vampires come to Alaska to feed on these people due to the 30 days of night that happens every year.

I thought this was a terrible movie. Nothing was that exciting and the action was a bit disappointing.

Horrible plot, horrible acting and horrendous fighting scenes. Biggest waste of $12.50 ever at the movies.

Okay, The acting wasn't terrible in all aspects. Ben Foster owned his role.

And in this movie's defense, at least they used REAL people for the vampires instead of CGI like I am Legend did.

I'd say it's definitely worth watching if you dig the horror/vampire genre.

The ending was terrible, though.

Why? Cause you started it? Haha.

I loved this movie. I thought the look was great and felt natural with the graphic novel aspect.

The subject of Vampires is such a turn off for me (which is why I haven't read Twilight). I probably won't watch it.

Because there is no point at all to have two exact same threads.

Foster showed he's one of the few talents left in hollywood (deserved a supporting actors nod for 3:10 to Yuma).

Overall it wasn’t a bad movie. The scenery was pretty nice, particularly the out door shots. The violence and sadistic nature of the “vampires” was also entertaining. The main fault with the film was its choppiness and poor editing. Scenes come out of nowhere and were “ended” with no conclusions or support. The film takes place over thirty days, but seems like one or two nights.

You catch Foster in Alpha Dog? Definitely the best character in the movie.

Its because in today's world, its cooler to dislike something than to like it.

Yeah, I did, I know a lot of people that did. I usually hate any horror-type movie and I was kept interested all throughout this film. Again though, I think it had one of the weakest endings ever when Hartnett's character simply "flakes apart" and flies away with the wind...come on...everything else up until that point was actually BELIEVABLE in a sense..and that was just like a cop out ending. But perhaps that's how it was in the graphic novel, and they were trying not to change it? I don't know..

Ben Foster steals the show in most movies that he is in.

3:10 to Yuma, Alpha Dog, 30 Days of Night, Hostage.

Too bad Brett Ratner didn't notice this trend or he could have had him salvage some of X3, but instead he cut his role to nothing.

I remember watching him in Flash Forward on the Disney channel when I was younger. He's a stunning actor today though. Absolutely stunning.

You should. Some users on here were knocking it, but I definitely enjoyed it. Really surprised with Timberlake's performance too. I went into it expecting Emile Hirsch to steal the show, but Foster and Timberlake made that movie worth watching.

If you see it on, watch it.

In my opinion this movie was far from awful. it definitely had a lot of flaws, like someone said there was poor editing. i agree. but the idea of the movie and some of the shots are very creepy. overall i'd say a 7 out of 10 just for the feel and excitement i got out of it.

the ending was a bit lame though...
