it was about the lack of priorites instead of everyone getting mad about butters eye, everyone flipped out about something else that wasn't important (i'll let you see it)

The whole time the kids were so scared they were gonna ge tin trouble for playing with weapons and stabbing Butters in the eye with a ninja star...so in the end Cartman thought he had the ninja power of invisibility...so he got naked and tried to sneak past the parents...but everyone in South Park saw him with no clothes on...then Butters appeared all wounded and hurt...but the only thing the parents cared about was that their children saw some nudity (Cartman claimed it was a wardrobe malfunction.). They didnt even notice Butters. In the end Kyle and Stan said "Wow I guess our parents dont care about us playing with weapons...not as long is there is sex stuff for them to worry about.".

I did laugh alot during The Passion epidsode...but I thought the message they tried to send was horrible. The majority of the people who make South Park are jewish...so of course they dont like The Passion. So they try and make Mel Gibson out to be a lunatic or something. Its not like Gibson just made this story up in his head. The movie was a dipiction of Jesus's last 12 hours alive...they tried to make it seem like the movie tries to convert people by using violence...It seems to me that they are underestimating their audiences intelligence.

Coronary Parasite
04/01/04, 02:50 PM
actually if you paid attention, most of the passion was created during the middle ages to stir up anti-semticism

and no most of the people who create the show are not jewish, trey parker the main writer, voice actor, is not jewish.

don't thin you know how jewish people feel aobut it based on the news either..i'm a little offended

SonnyPunk

You got an issue? Here's a tissue...

Im the first to admit im not a die hard South Park fan...but I was watching a South Park special on VH1 and I am almost certain I heard them mention that the majority of the show is jewish. Maybe Trey Parker isn't...but the other guy is.
Of course I dont know how every jew feels about the movie...but my Ive yet to meet a jewish person who liked the film...most I know refuse to go see it.
And The Passion is a depiction of his last 12 days alive.

So I stand by my comments...South Park tried to say that people should focus on the things Jesus taught...not in the way in which he was murdered. And that Mel Gibson is a wackjob who has no business making that film. Well Gibson just translated it onto film thats all. The whole time I was watching the show I felt like I was watching a cartoon made by a few jewish guys who were angry over the Passion.

Coronary Parasite
04/01/04, 04:47 PM
yet again, one jewish guy who doesn't even write a majority of the show. dude i like you but you are being highly offensive and basically wrong.

stick to be wrong if it works, but your offended a nation of people.

Im not trying to offend anyone...but I really felt like the show took shots at This movie because it painted a bad portrait of jews. I dunno exactly how many jewish people work on the show, I was under the impression that it was alot though. But I found it a little offensive myself...and I never get offended by anything.

Coronary Parasite
04/01/04, 05:53 PM
neither do i and i wasn't offended last night and it is in fact 1 creator jew, 1 not and it is not a jewish majority

you can say it is fact, i disagree, but they were right, jesus's death shouldn't guilt people into christianity...his life should inspire them into it

SonnyPunk
04/01/04, 06:03 PM
His death shouldnt guilt people into christianty...but the movie wasnt made as a device to do that. If He wanted to make a film to get people into christianity then he wouldve made one about Jesus's life. This movie was a depiction of his death...South Park tried to twist everything around and make Gibson look like an idiot...thats why I was offended.

Coronary Parasite
04/02/04, 09:01 AM
despite what anyone thinkgs of the movie he is a little insane, c'mon now...and they said on the show that the passion was written as a performance peice in the middle ages to insite people against the jews...

Um...Good Times With Weapons was the first episode of season 8. Every season of South Park has had its moments. This season is off to a good start. Seeing Kyle as a tall, black kid and his dad as a dolphin was great.

Stan - "Is Kyle's dad a dolphin?"
Cartman - "He's a jew that's a dolphin...he's a jewphin."

it wasn't funny. i only laughed during the penis part. it just sucked. the storyline sucked, and they tried to make it too epic. south park usually downplays epic events so they turn funny. this time, they just made it gay.

South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone have expressed their discontent at being put at the same comedic level as Family Guy. When questioned about the meanest thing anyone ever said to them, Stone replied "When people say to me, 'God, you guys have one of the best shows on television. You and Family Guy.' That fucking hurts so bad", to which Parker agreed: "Very well said. It's such a kick in the balls."[4]

On April 2, 2006 the following upcoming episode announcement was made on southparkstudios.com:

"This Week on South Park: Cartoon Wars Cartman and Kyle are at war over the popular cartoon, 'Family Guy.'"

"Cartoon Wars" will air on April 5, 2006. Considering the negative statements made by Parker & Stone in the past and their tendency to brutally mock things they hate, it's likely that the bulk of the episode will be devoted to bashing "Family Guy". The official website's synopsis:

"Why does Cartman hate "Family Guy" so much? It's all-new episode of "South Park" premiering Wednesday, April 5 at 10:00 P.M. on Comedy Central Cartman and Kyle are at war over the popular cartoon, "Family Guy." Kyle loves "Family Guy" and hates Cartman. The two boys embark upon a mad chase across the country and the fate of "Family Guy" lies with the first boy to reach Hollywood."

Yeah Season 5 kicks ass. My top 5 is something like:

1. Season 8
2. Season 7
3. Season 9
4. Season 5
5. Season 6

To me all the most recent seasons have been the best because they have made taking social issues and exaggerating the shit out of them so the issue becomes really clear a science. Season 8 though is just amazing. The one w/ the anime, the one where Jimmy takes steroids, passion of the jew, the one w/ you got served, the one w/ michael jackson, the one w/ paris hilton, the one w/ their own news show etc etc.

the most recent ones haven't had as many great one-liners as previous shows. last season was weak, and although the chef one was great, idk about this one so far. i know we're only a few episodes in, but i've just liked the old ones better.

i love ur banner haha

that's a pretty good episode. The finger bang episode was pretty good too. I think that was season 7? IF it was seven that was a good season.
Fingerbang is from Season 4. I only know that cuz I was playing the Season 4 DVD's today and that's on the cover, haha.

season 5 is the best.....i think the veil one is season 5, i know scott tenorman is season 5, and im almost positive the russel crowe/terrence and phillip trailer one is season 5....

the terrence and phillip trailer is probably the greatest south park episode of all time...

Tonight's episode seems to be more of a rip on Isaac Hayes and those other MORONS who believe in scientology and got offended from the infamous episode causing the departure of Chef [good riddance].

P.S. I'm halfway through this episode and I haven't even smiled. I even got so bored I started scratching my balls when they didn't itch.

Anyone else notice they called it FUCKS studios rather than Fox? Brilliance? Pretty childish if you ask me.

Update:
Hahahaha I finally laughed when the cops were chasing them.

You just don't like it because you're obviously obsessed w/ family guy and probably can't take it they make fun of it for what it really is.

I thought it was pretty funny. Nice reference back to when Tom Cruise tried to get the season premiere taken off the air, but Comedy Central aired it anyway. But in general, I think this episode is lacking. I loved the Family Guy impression, which I still maintain is very similar to the show.
