They are usually based on true stories which is why they are usually predictable, but people love it

Does anyone remember that basketball movie that had one of the Wayans brothers in it? It was called like "The Sixth Man" or something like that. That used to be like my favorite movie when I was like 10 and they'd play it on the Disney channel all the time.

Me too man, especially when his friend dies and then again when the team puts their jerseys on the coaches desk. And then again when the groundskeeper guy gives him the speech.....n o h o m o

What was that basketball movie with Whoopie Goldberg, that was brutal. Or the one with Matt Leblanc and the baseball playing monkey.
Id have to Mighty Ducks 1 and 3, the second pissed me off, fucking Iceland. Major Leagues are always good. I know as a hockey fan its blasphemy but I never liked Slap Shot a whole lot, but the fact that its based on real players makes it awesome.

Fuck yeah man. And the cliche scene where everyone's chanting his name, too.
The best part of Airborn are the sick guitar riffs during the final race.
