I haven't heard enough of their songs to make a solid opinion, but from what I have heard I'm not a huge fan. Am I going to go as far as to say I don't like them? No. All I know is I think the voice gets annoying after a few songs.

..But, uh. Further explaining. Their songs don't sound all the same. And the lyrics are above decent. The guy's voice is great.. and while they're obviously influenced by Tool, they're not a total rip-off of that band.

In conclusion. Chevelle = good.

I don't see anything wrong with them. They have this good Tool/Helmet meets indie rock sound. A lot better than mostly all pop-punk.

chevelle is one of the two radio rock/metal/whatever its called bands i can honestly say i've completely enjoyed along with trust company. i saw them years ago in richmond and they played an incredible show. also, the dvd they filmed at the norva was cool and wonder what's next kicked ass when it came out.
