All I can say is: Every time I hear LP has a new song out, I convince myself I'm not going to like it. Why? Because it's kind of generic? Because it's overdone rap-rock? Because it's molded into top-40 sounds? Probably a mix of all of these.

Despite all this, though....I still can't help but enjoy 90% of their songs....(although I must admit I've never liked them enough to buy a cd)

i like linkin park...they kicked ass live when i saw them. I listened to Hybrid Theory for like 6 months straight it was a great cd. And meteora isnt that bad either. So yeah linkin park doesnt suck.

linkin park.. well, i couldnt stop listning to hybrid theory once i got it, but the remix cd, and meteora, they just kinda had the same sounds and i just got tired of listning to their songs.

yeah that really pissed me off too like! they couldnt come up with anythin better so they just filled the gap in with shit.. my friend is an LP fan and even she says that album was the biggest waste of her money!

i dont like em. almost any band with its own separate rapper in it just doesnt seem to interest me at all. i think that they try to be a rock band but i dont think that they ever could in my view just because of the rapper

well i like hybrid theory better than meteora....but i really dont like reanimation......... linkin park do have a unique style tho, and are great live! (considering that their songs r quite hard to play live):p

Linkin Park is everyone's guilty pleasure...there is a LP song for every kind of person...that's why they're so huge...they hit all genres of music...you can't help but get some of their songs stuck in your head.

Just because something isn't punk, and could be thrown into the "rap" category you all get scared and run away. I don't own any of their cd's personally, but every song of their's that i've heard, I can say that i've honestly enjoyed. You people need to expand your horizons and check out other types of music too. Listen to some of the radio rock bands that are out right now...Three Days Grace, Trapt, Cold - all of those bands have awesome cd's out, that none of you would give any credit to. They may not be the most original bands ever, but they are definitely cd's worth buying.

linkin park is an incredible band - they're not really one of my favorites but I have a lotta respect for them and enjoy their music too. When they came out a few years ago no one had heard anything quite like them, and the way they combined the instruments together with the rap, singing, music, etc. was great...

I think its cool that they have a DJ and ive heard they had a string section, so thats something different, and there songs get stuck in my head every so often, but on the whole, i dont like their music.

Linkin Park is pretty good, one of the best "nu-metal" bands. They put on one hell of a live show. I saw them once before Hybrid even came out and there were like 100 people there, it was awesome....Ive seen them so many times now though but I still like them.

Id take any HT song over any Meteora song...

And oh yea two of their new songs. "Nobodys Listening" and "Break The Habit" were absolutley sickening but minus those two they are a good band.

I really like Linkin Park, and it seems a lot of other people like them too.
I was going to buy tickets for their concert in FL and they started selling at 10:00am I think and were sold out at 2:00pm the same day.

I already listen to a wide variety of music (wider than you I bet). I'm not narrow minded, you just need to listen to better music.

I bought Hybrid Theory in October 2000. At the time it was pretty good, but after getting into better music and hearing their singles over and over, I got sick of them. I can't stand them anymore.

To be honest I used to listen to them. I bought hybrid theory back in the days and I loved it. But now that I look back on it and I look at what I listen to now a days, I don't like them much. I'll listen to them if I have to. I'm not going to go out of my way to listen to them though.
