this is all going to come down to a personal preference, like all the guys that don't watch hockey around here will never know how ridiculous the atmosphere is in game 7 of a cup final.

Game seven in baseball is tops for me, but hockey is right behind.

I am not the biggest hockey fan in the world, but not much is better than playoff hockey

personal preference aside, a penalty kick to decide the world cup has to be the biggest deciding event in the world. Take how many people watch the super bowl and then multiply it by 10 since its the entire world watching and then make the entire thing come down to a one on one match after they just ran around non-stop for 90 minutes. I hate watching soccer but I was in the ER during the last one and coundn't stop watching..

ive been to an nhl game 7 in the playoffs, an nba game 7 in the playoffs, and an MLB game 7 in the playoffs..i think i gotta go with the NHL

No sport has playoffs like hockey, specifically game 7's.

As far as my declining interest in hockey has gone, playoff OT is just insanely entertaining. College football playoffs overtime is also sweet too.

I went with the World Series because one bad pitch in extra innings in the bottom of the inning, forget it, theres no getting it back.

The Stanley Cup Finals is still amazing though, your goalie can always save you with a great save.
Either way the atmosphere for both of the events are incredible.

i am a tribe fan... and thats exactly how it was during the series with the yankees and then the bosox. i just love the feeling of baseball in october... a lot of excitement.

its sooooooo close for me with baseball and hockey. the intensity and tension in both are unbelievable but even in just a deciding game, not even a game 5/7 in baseball can be sooo intense.

still game 7 of the stanley cup finals and the nhl playoffs period, cant be beat. as far as passion and just quality sports entertainment the nhl playoffs are where its at.
