Videogames are expensive

So I want to mod my Wii to be able to play burned games. Can anyone point me in the direction of some legit modchips or guides that can get me started?

Anyone else done it or recommend not fucking with my Wii? I'm pretty tech savvy, although I wouldn't really trust myself to do any serious soldering work.

my ex had this done a while ago and it seemed to work fine... i cant tell you where to get it done tho, it was just some asian guy on her street who was doing it for 50 bucks a piece.

I wouldn't recommend it if you plan on playing anything online. I'm pretty sure the console companies can track that shit these days and will kick you off if they catch you.

Games aren't that expensive imo. Smash Bros is the kind of game I'll dump 1000 hours into ... that's like 5 cents per hour of gameplay not including electricity or the cost of a Wii.
