I doubt I'll find many fans here, but I have recently gotten into him and am incredibly intrigued by both his music and his life. He was a British singer who died of an overdose in 1974. He was a largely acoustic artist and his songs are very guitar-centric and usually pretty sad.
Any fans? If you aren't, and you're looking to find something new I would highly recommend him.

Yea I'm a huge fan of him he's such a mellow listen, but some of his songs are so sad.

A lot of Nick Drake fans here actually. Pink Moon is far and away my favorite album of all time (hence the avatar) and it was also voted in as one of the music forum's favorite albums recently.
Glad to hear you're getting into his work. About time people start appreciating good singer-songwriters.

Ah, I wasn't aware he was so prolific here. AP surprises me again.

Well, a few of us have relentlessly whored his work so that might explain it.

His songs make me so sad but sometimes they perfectly sum up a mood. Amazing songwriter. I love his guitar work.
