I was listening to the new The Matches album and tracks 8 (From 24C) and 9 ( Clouds Crash) just totally kicked my ass at how great they were and how well they juxtaposed together. What are everyone's favorite back to back tracks?

Some of my others include:
The first 4 of Set Your Goals' Mutiny!
It's Not Over & The Fight off Days Away's Mapping an Invisible World.
The No Seatbelt Song and Seventy Times Seven off of Brand New's Your Favorite Weapon.(I know I'm not the only person who was blown away after hearing the slow, somber long lost love song rip into 70x7 the first time.)

The flow of all In The Aeroplane Over The Sea is quite nice.

Where The Streets Have No Name ---> I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For ---> With Or Without You
That's probably my favorite flow of any tracks on an album.

I'm assuming you meant to put California up there by Copeland, and I would wholeheartedly agree.

But, I'd say Not The Sun kills the flow much moreso than Luca for TDAG.
And Luca's arguably my second favorite song on TDAG.

I agree with Funkel that Not the Sun is the flow killer, but either way, those first few tracks flow oh so perfectly.

I'll have to re-listen to them, but those are probably my two favorite songs on Colors, Son Of Nothing topping out at number 1

I go with the foamborns, probably because they're not as long, i love the transition, and Foamborn b is just hardhitting all the way throughout, i love it

I love in Son Of Nothing when it breaks into this hand drum type beat and the lead singer goes 'ba-boom!'

jimmy eat world - clarity: just watch the fireworks -> for me this is heaven

the format - dog problems: matches -> i'm actual

the weakerthans - left and leaving: aside -> watermark

I judge these by the fact that even when I hear the former song on shuffle, I automatically start humming/processing the beginning of the latter song even though it's not going to come on next, although oddly enough the other day Watermark did come on right after Aside when I had my library on shuffle.

and thats just on one of the three discs.

yes, i meant california, my bad. and luca is my fourth favorite, haha. ill address not the sun below

I agree with Funkel that Not the Sun is the flow killer, but either way, those first few tracks flow oh so perfectly.

seeing them flow from welcome to bangkok right into not the sun live makes you realize just how those two songs almost have to be beside each other, the album is slowing down, and the bass line intro is perfect to pick it back up without it being an obnoxious change.
