The Used

Just something about them that keeps me away from their music. When their s/t came out I listened to it for a while, then it got too old too fast. A few songs I can enjoy, like 'Maybe Memories' and 'Just A Little', and a few more off of their s/t, but the rest I can hardly listen to.

i sorta like the used...i can stand half the songs they've done but the other half are shit.

they're good but their cd just seemed to get old pretty fast. I don't know why. "choke me" is a bad ass song though, they shoulda put that on the cd.

yeah thats how it was for me, but i would rather want to see them live than own one of the cds. they kick ass live..."maybe memories" is one of the better songs that i love hearing live, although ive only heard them once live. heh...

The Used are too generic for me. I like most of the stuff they do...but never enough to merit buying their cds. They sound too much like every other band out there, with no defining qualities, minus Kelly Osbourne. I wouldn't say i dislike them, but I don't necessarily like them.

I used to seriously not be able to stand them. Mainly due to the reason they screamed in every song. I guess I got used to it and now I really don't mind them. Even IF they get played on the radio, I'm still a fan.

the used are pretty fuckin awesome.... they might sound similar to other bands but the fact is that they were one of the first bands to adopt that sort of sound - so many bands have followed them and are ripping them off horribly (such as Story of the Year)..... For you people that said you don't like the screaming - Bert has said he's done with screaming for the next album....

It is on their self-titled .. it's a secret track .. listen to the last track and at the end fast forward to 8 minutes.

Whos to say that? Do you know Bert? Dude, he was dating her before the Osbournes started filming, you gotta remember that. He had no idea that the show was going to be so big. The Used are good, but not great... let 'em mature a little more. I'm sure they are capable of amazing us all in 2004.

The first time I saw them live they were bad ass. However, when I saw them on Warped this past summer they seemed burned out with their set... oh well

oh i think you should give it a try. do like the other person said and listen to it on their site first if you are wary. personally, i think the used gets undercut a lot for their sudden burst of popularity. but honestly, i think they are a talented group. the kind of music they are making is a difficult one to do, because people will either love it or hate it, but i don't think you can really catch lukewarm fans.

i like them. give them a chance online at least. listen to poetic tragedy or something of that sort.

The Used are a great band who put on an exceptional live show and are completely awesome guys. I was lucky enough to spend quite a lot of time with them when they were extremely small, ha according to them I was "the first person to ever know the words to Used songs outside of Utah"

One of the best bands to come out in the last three years.

i dont think im going to keep the cd. i like it a lot but i just can't get into it that much. though i do like the easier tracks on it like "on my own", "poetic tragedy", and "blue and yellow". but then again i really do consider this a softer cd, in my opinion
