I got my tickets ready for tomorrow night at 11...The Return of the King. I am so damn excited. But I am also kind of sad that this will be the end. Its become like a tradition these past 3 years to await the end of december to see a new Lord of the Rings movie. But ROFK is definately my favorite book of the three. Its so damn powerful and moving. I only hope the movie will be equally as amazing (Which Im sure it will.).
I am curious to see what Peter Jackson does with this film...I am pretty sure he didnt film the scouring of the shire in the movie which sorta sucks but on the other hand I can understand why he didnt. Its good in the book but it might seem out of place in a film...the whole audience that isnt familiar with the books and just watches the movies is simply anticipating Frodo either destroying the ring or failing his quest. To have the movie continue on after Mt. Doom might not seem right to people. But that leaves questions like How will explain what happens to Sarumon and stuff. I think he's going to change alot of stuff around but hopefully the movie will prove to be the best of the trilogy.

Lord Of The Ring Sucks enormous donkey dick.... How? Just ... how? These movies are incredible pieces of work for the new-age, respecting the works of J.R.R Tolkien and his amazing writing, films that everybody can't help but love. They aren't changing much about them, they follow almost everything in the books. J.R.R Tolkien is an amazing man, and I am glad they have proved that his stories are beyond anything that anybody else will be able to write in terms of these stories. Go see the new movie, it'll change your mind.
