It's actually the egg. Reptiles came first and reptiles layed eggs...chickens which are mammal's came wellll after the reptiles so...the egg did come first. you should ask a more specific question "what came first, the chicken or the chicken egg"

Neither the chicken nor the egg came first. It's not like a chicken just magically appeared one day and started laying eggs. Nor is it like some other animal just magically laid a chicken egg and a chicken popped out.

I'm sorry, in one of my earlier threads I said they were mammals. Man, that's embarrassing. Well, back to my point. If you go with the evolution stuff...the chicken must have have come from another bird so it must have come from an egg. I'm going with the egg.

Rennard, you dumb fuck, even if it was evolution, a chicken just didn't magically appear from another animal. It still had to be born, and since its a bird, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say, no matter what, it came from an egg. Even if the first chicken was an evolution of something, it came from an egg. Since it was the first chicken, that there egg was the first chicken egg.
