There's a fairly new football simulator out called goal line blitz. You create a player or up to 4, customize their traits, training habits, playing style, etc, and get signed to a team (either cpu or player controlled). Games are simulated every second day, and you get more points to spend on upgrading abilities or equipment. I just started, but it seems interesting so far. You can also buy a team with the points you earn, and fully control front office, from ticket prices to signing players. If there's interest we could set up an AP team, or a couple to allow some of you management geniuses to match wits.

it's alright i guess. Right now it's pretty log-jammed, as all of the current teams have been bought up by users. I don't know if you noticed, but they said they're working on getting some new servers up to add more teams and more conferences, which will help newcomers (like all of us) be able to develop our guys with playing time instead of getting stuck on a depth chart.

Alright I know what the problem with that is. It's designed so that you get 3 offers from CPU-controlled teams. Unfortunately, right now there are no CPU teams left until the get new servers in/new conferences and teams made.

Go to the Forum section Players Looking For Teams and advertise yourselves as active players looking for a team, someone will pick you up as long as you say you're active and looking for a team/any amount of playing time.

Level 16 OLB & Level 8 RG now. My guard is just a depth guy, 3rd string, usually gets about 20 plays a game. My OLB is a force to the point where the other teams run to the other side of the field, but his stats have gone way down (from 50 tackles in 7 games to 38 in 13)

I just worked out an awesome trade. from the middle of the road SE Asia AA team to one of the best teams in Western Europe AA.

I told my owners it was my friend's team because I was sick of their shit and there was a huge talent exodus. They traded my Lvl 17 OLB for 170k. The only stipulation was that my Lvl 10 OG had to stay with that team for awhile, so I signed a 3 year contract extension.

yeah. i just don't get why he won't just sell me. he claims he doesn't want to sell me for cash because the offseason is so hectic and it saves him the trouble of signing players if he gets some in return. but his only other option is to keep me on the roster and get nothing in return and have to sign those players anyways.

and i don't even care about numbers or anything, so it's not like that. it's just that i literally get 2-4 carries a game, and sometimes only 13-16 plays total. he wants to pass 80% of the time and when he does want to run, he wants to run to the outside. i'm built for power. i just don't fit on the team. he's got two lower levels who get basically zero pt because i take plays they could be getting.

my main dude, my 19 fs had a solid game, but we lost. granted, it was a tough matchup and a great game, but this team should definitely see the playoffs again. if something worked out and i could end up with all my players on this team, i'd be ecstatic.

and i just created a wr for an expansion team, boosted him up to lvl 7 for the opener. 4 rec, 93 yds, 2td. not bad for a first career game.

and my hb never got traded. i found a deal that worked for all parties, then my owner backed out last minute because he found a deal he liked better. then the other team backed out. so i'm still there. i think he's gonna try to convince me to stay by putting me in the starting lineup though. doesn't matter, team still blows. i'm just pissed i gave him half a dozen good deals to get me out of there and he didn't take a single one.

i'm just glad the season's here. and most of last year i had all my games on the same days. this year i have three on odd days and two on even days, so that makes me giddy.

Same here. We also have two other guys who are the offensive and defensive coordinators and they're always making threads about the opposing team's tendencies and whether we should play on hard and stuff like that. The owner also has a "player of the game" where he gives a 100k bonus to whoever has the most by the end of the season.

yeah in the first playoff game cinco ran for 108.5 yards and three touchdowns. they pretty much just went through and signed everyone interested through season four with the bonus money from the playoffs. if anything happens on that front i'll definitely say something in here. the backup is owned by the defensive coordinator so i doubt he goes anywhere, but if cinco gets moved i'll be sure to say something.

Do you get booted from CPU teams if you don't log into check on them everyday? i went like 3-4 days without logging in and I just had to sign deals for all 3 of my dudes with new CPU teams.
I think the cutoff is like a week. that happened to me.

filling a roster with all human players is a fucking task. this is why i was hesitant to get a team. i figured by next offseason i'd be ready for one. but oh well. i'll make the best of it. there's some stacked teams in the conference, but i think we can be competitive right away.

LB, they were in high demand and I thought I would cut my teeth in the CPU leagues to get a few levels before moving up to get into a human controlled team.

i can put you starting. that's not a big deal. i pretty much was just starting who signed first if the players were close in level. it's set up to where backups are pretty much getting the same amount of plays as the starters. i can make that switch though.

spend training points (per 5) at intense training if you have the money to gather Bonus Tokens, once you have 5 Bonus Tokens you can spend them on a +5 any attribute. That will also help big time during the middle/end of the season and make your build much easier where you can experiment a bit more.

Oh I know, but they should trade me or something if they're just going to put me in for one play. All these guys spend money buying flex points to level up their players but they're never putting the points in the right place. I have a higher "rushing" bar in the scouting report than the two RBs in front of me.

yeah, definitely try to get confidence up to about 30. i'd do that and cap out tackling, then just keep getting your speed up.
