I am a guitarist/singer looking to join/start a band with people who want to play music for a living. I want to tour full time etc... my band of 3 years just parted ways on good terms. we have toured, done dates on the warped tour the last 2 years, and played for labels. i have my own guitar equipment, and on top of that, a dw drum kit and a van as well. i may be willing to relocate depending on the circumstances. i booked all the tours for my band and have a good amount of connections. i work hard and i am 100% dedicated to whatever i do. so if you are serious, you wanna get on the road, or in the studio, or on a label, hit me up and we'll talk.

what kind of sound are you looking for?
im a singer and i've been in a band for almost 4 years and im sick of the kind of crap we play - theres no challenge. and the guitarist basically runs the band and hes all zepplin and floyd and im like so over all of that.
if you're looking for some really hard screaming sound, i cant help ya but i am a singer, my brother is on guitar, and we're looking for something new.
we're around park ridge, niles.

hey man i wanted to reply and say that im looking for the same thing ive been looking for a solid band to tour with ive been in many bands and not one of them is serious enough for me just need to know what kind of sound your looking for im also the guitar player and the brother of the previous reply made by R0ckchic22 so if u could get back to me ASAP peace

well, i don't know that there is an exact sound that I'm shooting for, I know I don't want to go the screaming route, every band out there right now is doing that. I guess I would say a medium to fast rock/emo/indie sound. lots of melody. right now I am really into the new thrice, armor for sleep, far, and hum. I don't know if that helped, but if you still wanna talk, my aim is UselessRJ. thanks for the reply.

well the music im listening to right now is the thrice,taking back sunday,yellowcard,matchbook romance (who has an awesome backup screamer with the lead singer) so i think we pretty want the same sound another thing, i was wondering if u had a bass player for the band ur trying to make because your post asks for a guitar/singer
