Just wondering if anybody else liked this band? My friend just told me about them, I downloaded some songs and I love them so far. Anybody recommend which album I should buy tomorrow?

yeah i just started listening to death cab and checked out some of the postal service stuff...very cool....very different...postal service has this wierd tecno electronic thing goin on but its cool

Death Cab for Cutie is a great band, you should really get the album. I must say though the Postal Serive - Give Up is maybe the best release of 2003. I know it is a huge step for me to say this. I mean so many great releases, but I can't quit listening to it. It is the catchy stuff I've ever heard. Check out The Postal Service- District Sleeps Alone Tonight. My personally favorite. Thanks for listening.

"We have the facts and we're voting Yes" is my favorite album...but if you're just getting into the band then you should go with "Transatlanticism".

amen to everything everybody has said. they're going on tour in feb/march i BELIEVE... emphasis there... with saves the day and grandaddy- word of mouth u know don't put much stock into what i say. transatlanticism is exceptional... what more can i say?
