There is definitely some virtue in defending the right position when it comes to the more serious topics of Political Science. When it's just arguing that both Popeye and Temple, of Faulkner's Sanctuary, are equally evil, it's just fun.

Introductions are the easiest. I used the same intro outline all 4 years of highschool.

Start with the quote. Agree or disagree with the quote and state why, connecting to your topic (I think this is where your thesis goes, I don't remember.) How is it related to your topic ('This is shown by the use of plot, symbolism, themes, etc'). Make sure you state the author and title, and then throw in a conclusion sentence.

Buahaha, taking honors classes in high school is a great way to get a lot of extra work and nothing else. Anybody that says you have to take classes "to prepare for college" is lying to you. Also, GPA is basically irrelevant if you do good on an ACT or SAT. College is as easy if not easier than high school for at least the first three years.

You should just go post-secondary.. that's what I wish I'd have done.

Nursing is actually a pretty cool major... At least it is IMO. I'll be an RN in 6 months, and just finished my final for med surg 2 this past week (10 hour credit class). I pretty much brag about it every chance I get :o)
