So, I went to the Hit The Lights show with TheAudition, Every Avenue, The Morning Light, and Kiros at 2 Cents Plain, here in St. Louis. All in all, it was a pretty good show, HTL were amazing, and all of the other bands just kind of blended together, sounded a lot alike to me. They were all pretty good though. For some reason though, the crowd was way small, like some of the local shows I go to and play at draw more kids, which is strange, because I thought if not HTL, TheAudition had a pretty big following as of now. But, like I said it was a pretty good show, a whole lot of fun.

Hit The Light's setlist looked something like this:

These Backs Are Made For Stabbing
309
The Call Out
Until We Get Caught
Save Your Breath
Stay Out (new song)
Speakers Blown
Talk Us Down
Bodybag

that should be pretty close the right order, one or two could be out of place though

there probably weren't a lot of people there because no one knows about 2 cents plain yet.

Cool tour sounds like alot of fun and even more awesome since its at 2 cents plain so it will feel tad bit more intimate then if you were at the pageant in STL.

9 songs? thats a little weak for having an EP one full length and another full length on the way

that's not terrible, especially on a tour with 5 bands, and not headlining.
some bands play that amount or less when headlining shows these days.

Haha Dcfreak yeah when I first went there I was like wow this is in a weird section of STL and I dont know if its always quiet and no one on the streets around there but it was like that when I saw heavyheavylowlow there.

Yeahh, I have mixed feelings about 2 Cents Plain also, its okay, better than the Creepy Crawl, but, I really just miss Mississippi Nights. However, if any of you guys from STL have absolutely nothing to do on Friday, you should go down to 2 Cents Plain to check out the STLPUNK.COM SHOW. My band, and 6 other sweet bands are playing, its the first STPUNK Show in over a year, so it should be pretty rad, and its only $5.00. So if you've got nothing to do, come down there and party with everybody

How'd the old songs sound without Colin?

..different, I'd say
its not like it was all that bad or anything, cause Nick actually was pretty great
IMO though, Colin had a very distinct voice, and I just wasn't used to Nick doing leads yet
