fucking seagate

making my life difficult. So today my apple was acting funny and it has been ever since i installed leopard (i have a powerpc g4 laptop) so i restart it and i go into itunes to play some songs and it says file can't be find. so im like wtf, i see my seagate external hd is not showing up on the desktop. then i listen to it and its making a scratchy ticking noise. so i immediately knew the fucker crashed! i lost 30 gigs of music, final cut videos i made that i was saving. i suppose i can get the music off my ipod but still. what a pain the in ass. does not "ejecting" the drive have anything to do with this? i thought Seagate drives rarely fail so im shocked to find out. however the good news is that i called them and they are sending a replacement drive on warranty when i send the busted one back. anyone else have issues like this?

Umm, well no I don't, I don't have a Mac.

But once, my non-mac laptop did that and I had so much important stuff on it, I don't understand how I break computers so easily.
