I like blink a lot and they do have some good songs...but I wouldn't go as far to say they're tremendous song writers.

take off your pants and jacket has some awsome lyrics in it. then box car racer was just amazing. now there new album is just at the top of there game. The lyrics on there new album are just great. all there albums before have a few songs that show this but now its just blooming.

and THAT is how you become famous. You can be a horrible musician, but it doesnt matter. i give them respect for the hard work they did to get to where they are, but as song writers and musicians, i give them none.

they rn't the best at what they do but they are still entertaining and i like them... and i like the new album. the others are all good but still think they are getting better.

In my opinion, those 2 albums were their best (so far), but I wouldn't say they've gone downhill..and I personally also wouldn't say it was their prime. You never really know what a bands prime is until their careers are over.

Yeah, they describe how they write it in the booklet in the new record. Mark and Tom both went into seperate rooms, planning to lay down lyrics for the song. Mark was going to write the chorus and Tom was going to write the verses, and when they both finished they showed eachother and they both ended up writing about sex. Haha, that's pretty funny.

Theres a description of the meaning behing every song in the book. Well, with some it just briefly talks about each song.
