do I need to add a scenario to this?

if this is a weekly ritual and your disregarding the question you can enjoy a fine japanese version of tetris

I think I would go with The Sonic Youth

Alex Djaferis
04/18/08, 04:55 PM
Thrice.

And I've done that before.

mysticdemon
04/18/08, 04:56 PM
thats a tough one... i'd go with blink 182 i think. I listen to the same artists over and over though so i tend to get bored of stuff pretty quickly and have to take a break.

Taking Back Sunday.

04/18/08, 05:01 PM
I do this all the time. One week was Cursive, another was The Mars Volta, and another was blink-182.

04/18/08, 06:19 PM
You know, you can rephrase the question a million times, but it will always be the same question.

Genuma
04/18/08, 06:23 PM
We had a few threads like these. One guy said NUFAN last time. I'd probably go with that. Big, diverse discog.

Kid B
04/18/08, 06:26 PM
The beatles. Their Collection is large enough.

If not them, radiohead.

KatieKutthroat.
04/18/08, 06:41 PM
A week? That's not very difficult.I'm feeling the Skatalites lately, so let's go with them.

thespearkid
04/18/08, 06:49 PM
Hm. It'd have to be a band that has a pretty large collection of albums that don't sound exactly like the last. I'd probably pick Queen being that discography is large and diverse enough to keep me entertained for awhile. An entire week though? I'd probably end up bored no matter which band I chose.

thesafeword
04/18/08, 07:39 PM
Right now, Bright Eyes.

Villanova1L
04/18/08, 08:04 PM
Jay-Z

GuitarR0cker1
04/18/08, 08:09 PM
I would probably go with a band that has been around for a while, but still keeps it going creativley. Probably Green Day,Nirvana, Fall Out Boy, or Blink-182.

Pat k
04/18/08, 08:26 PM
I'd go with Brian Eno. His ambient stuff will be background music for studying, but his glam stuff will be good for walking to class. He rules

duhpunk
04/18/08, 10:03 PM
Funeral for a Friend...i have more songs by them than i do anyone else.

theguy77
04/18/08, 10:04 PM
TAI and its diversity/depth put thrice on the list, without it they wouldnt be there. but i would still need vheissu and a random mix of maybe 8 or so of their older songs.

i HAVE listened to only brand new for entire weeks before. given the massive diversity of the moods in their discography of only 3 albums, and then their 9 leaked demos and like billions of b-sides and other things that fanboys coveted and put all over limewire, i mean i just never ever get tired of them.

04/18/08, 10:08 PM
Taking Back Sunday.

You would.

About a month ago I listened to Pearl Jam exclusively for at least 2 weeks straight. Kinda easy though since they have so much material.

alice+interiors
04/19/08, 04:43 AM
I wouldn't: I'd spend all day practising how to spell 'listen.'

icantonafriday
04/19/08, 04:46 AM
I could listen to Radiohead for well over a week straight.

checkered.stars
04/19/08, 05:37 AM

alice+interiors
04/19/08, 06:19 AM
I could with Death Cab or Say Anything, possibly PRP!.

m_rue
04/19/08, 07:49 AM
I'd go with the Starting Line, cause both silymi and boats are kind of timeless to me and I never get sick of listening to them. Plus they have quite a few demos/b-sides and such.

matthewpaul
04/19/08, 08:25 AM

lindZ629
04/19/08, 10:54 AM
1 week is not very long.
I could easily do it with The Beatles, DMB, or Blink.

4N6 science
04/19/08, 11:15 AM

IWasaCamera
04/19/08, 12:44 PM
A week isn't particularly long so I could choose a good 20 artists to do this with.

Kneeka
04/19/08, 12:58 PM
The Blood Brothers. No matter what mood I'm in I could find a song that matches it.

Kid B

def Augustana, Jack's mannequin, or Lifehouse.

MrsGarrison
04/20/08, 10:46 AM
when i first got into brand new last summer, i had all three of their albums on repeat on my ipod for like a month. so it is def. possible.
i'd have to go with blink 182 though, just because they've got 8 albums of solid material, all of which have different feels to them. Buddha, Cheshire Cat, Dude Ranch, Enema of the State, The Mark, Tom, and Travis Show, TOYPAJ, Self-Titled, and Greatest Hits.....yea, I'd be set for a week.

fallon_blue
04/20/08, 03:01 PM
I've been listening to MONTY ARE I for the past three weeks...it still hasn't gotten old.
